AL GHAZALI: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pemikiran Islam is committed to maintaining transparency, objectivity, and integrity throughout the scholarly publishing process. All authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could improperly influence, or reasonably be perceived to influence, the preparation, evaluation, editorial decision-making, or publication of a manuscript.
Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial interests that may influence the research, interpretation of findings, or presentation of conclusions. Such interests may include employment, consultancy, research funding, financial relationships, personal relationships, institutional affiliations, academic collaborations, or other competing interests.
All relevant conflicts of interest must be declared at the time of manuscript submission. If no conflicts exist, authors should include the following statement in their manuscript:
"The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest regarding the publication of this article."
The disclosure of a conflict of interest does not automatically prevent a manuscript from being considered for publication. Editorial decisions will be based on the manuscript's academic quality, originality, relevance, and compliance with publication ethics.
Reviewers must disclose any circumstances that could compromise their impartiality when evaluating a manuscript. These may include personal relationships, professional competition, recent collaboration with the authors, financial interests, or other competing interests.
Reviewers who identify a significant conflict of interest must inform the editor promptly and, where necessary, decline the review assignment. Reviewers must not use unpublished information obtained during the peer-review process for personal, professional, or financial advantage.
Editors must make editorial decisions independently, objectively, and fairly. An editor who has a conflict of interest concerning a submitted manuscript must disclose it and withdraw from the relevant editorial decision-making process. The manuscript should then be handled by an independent editor who has no relevant conflict of interest.
Editorial decisions must not be influenced by personal relationships, institutional affiliations, financial considerations, academic status, or other interests unrelated to the scholarly merit of the manuscript.
All disclosed conflicts of interest will be assessed by the editorial team to determine whether appropriate measures are necessary. Such measures may include reassignment of reviewers or editors, additional independent review, clarification of disclosures, or publication of a conflict-of-interest statement alongside the article.
If a conflict of interest is identified after publication, the journal will assess the matter and take appropriate corrective action where necessary to maintain the integrity and transparency of the scholarly record.
AL GHAZALI: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pemikiran Islam requires all parties involved in the publishing process to uphold the principles of transparency, accountability, impartiality, and academic integrity. The journal addresses conflicts of interest in accordance with its publication ethics policies and recognized scholarly publishing standards.
