Abstract

Studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi profesional dan pedagogis guru Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai penentu motivasi dan prestasi siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pustaka kualitatif, kajian ini mensintesis konsep dari berbagai sumber teoritis yang relevan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional berkontribusi melalui penguasaan materi Islam, kemampuan memberikan penjelasan yang memuaskan, membangun kredibilitas guru, dan mengembangkan materi pengajaran dan instrumen penilaian yang berkualitas. Pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi terjadi melalui penyampaian rasa ingin tahu siswa, peningkatan efikasi diri, dan membangun persepsi positif tentang nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam. Kompetensi pedagogis berkontribusi melalui kemampuan menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik, membangun komunikasi yang efektif, mengelola kelas dengan baik, merancang pembelajaran yang sistematis, menggunakan media yang tepat, melakukan penilaian yang autentik, mengelola perbedaan individu, dan mengembangkan potensi siswa. Pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi terjadi melalui pemenuhan kebutuhan afiliasi, menciptakan rasa aman, memberikan pengalaman sukses, dan membangun efikasi diri. Kedua kompetensi tersebut saling melengkapi dan saling memperkuat dalam menentukan motivasi dan prestasi siswa dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam. Studi ini menyiratkan perlunya pengembangan yang seimbang dari kedua kompetensi tersebut dalam program peningkatan kualitas guru dan kurikulum pendidikan guru.
